I began experimenting with special effects glazes as part of my BA final year project, The Fixed & The Mutable. These glazes are a fun way to add another layer of unpredictability to the ceramic process as they look very different before and after firing. With these different colours and textures, I aim to achieve visual chaos and continue to experiment with different glazes now.

These glaze tests have been shown at Creative Women’s Hub’s exhibition, ‘Beyond Borders: Bridging Divides Through Art’ in London and at ‘Future Icons Selects’ during London Craft Week.
